All about Angular signals and why they matter so much

Alain Chautard – Google Developer Expert

In this talk, Alain will cover everything there is to know about Angular Signals and why they are so important for the future of your Angular applications. We'll talk about performance, change detection, and signal-based components.

6:50 pm

NgRx Signal Store

Rainer Hahnekamp – Google Developer Expert

While Angular's embrace of Signals catapulted it back to the forefront of frontend development, it's still early days. The vast ecosystem of Angular libraries must now adjust, and leverage Signals themselves.

One area is state management. The NgRx SignalStore reimagines state management entirely with Signals at its core.

In my talk, we will look at this novel store and explore the possibilities of modern, Signals-based state management.

Breaking new ground with Angular Query

Krzysztof Skorupka – Angular Architect & Team Leader at House of Angular

Inspired by the well-established effectiveness of TanStack Query in various frameworks, Angular Query presents a fresh paradigm for managing server state in Angular applications. The library streamlines tasks such as data fetching, caching, and server-side data synchronisation, featuring intuitive, declarative APIs and minimal configuration requirements. Let’s explore its potential within the Angular ecosystem.

Durable and modular Frontend application with Nx

Luca Del Puppo – Google Developer Expert

Building applications with JavaScript is fantastic, but the toolchain could be more enthusiastic sometimes.
Building and testing time could become minutes, not seconds, and splitting the applications into modules depends on our folder structure.
However, there is a way to take all these benefits and get a better Developer Experience.
Nx is the solution and, in the last years, has had a lot of success.
Using Nx, you can easily share your libraries, build and test them in parallel and reduce wasting time.
You can prevent building or retesting unchanging code and speed up your workflow.
It also reduces the initial configuration of your projects, and you can think only about releasing value to your product or customer.
In this speech, you'll see the benefits of using Nx in your projects, the different ways to create a project, and how to split the code base and improve productivity.

Angular RxJS and Signals: Better Together

Deborah Kurata – Google Developer Expert

Using RxJS and signals with reactive programming techniques, our Angular applications are more responsive to user actions and state changes, providing a better user experience with less code.
In this session, we how RxJS and signals are most powerful together, improving our state management and reactivity.

6:50 pm

Architecture of Angular Forms

Dmytro Mezhenskyi – Google Developer Expert

During this talk, we will dive into the source code of the Angular Forms modules and learn how they are designed under the hood and how this knowledge can help you develop forms more efficiently and consciously.

3 Effective Rules for Successfully Using Signals in Angular

Manfred Steyer – Google Developer Expert

It is undisputed that Signals will shape the future of Angular. At first glance, Signals seem very easy to use—like variables with getters and setters. However, if you start using them that way, you run into several pitfalls. To prevent such situations, we discuss 3 effective rules of thumb that help you take advantage of the advantages of Signals and reactive systems in general and make your source code more maintainable.
You will be surprised by the difference these three rules can make!

Past

events

This is going to be our 13-15th Angular Meetup! We have been organising this event since 2021 in association with Angular Warsaw and NG Poland.

The

Benefits

Our meetups give developers the chance to meet fellow Angular enthusiasts and discuss all things Angular. They often feature Google Developer Experts such as Nir Kaufman, Marko Stanimirowić, Fanis Prodromou, J. Alisa Duncan, Stefan Haas and give attendees the opportunity to gain unique knowledge.

Gain Professional Tips

Get practical tips on your own projects. Find out how to tackle challenges you face in your work through informative lectures, live coding, and access to case studies.

Learn from Experts

Listen to the biggest experts in the Angular world. Meet Angular Developers or Google Developer Experts at every meetup and talk about anything you'd like to learn about.

Create Angular Community

Contribute to the development of the Angular community. Participate in Angular discussions on the latest cutting-edge topics, give feedback on lectures, and meet people like you.
